This JavaScript workshop is for absolute beginners to understand how a Javascript web application works, and how the front-end and back-end communicate. The structure will include a hands-on walkthrough showing participants how they can build their own chat application similar to Twitch or Slack, using JavaScript and other modern tools like Node.js and Web Sockets.

The goal of the workshop is to demonstrate the possibilities of the language, and spark a curiosity that will inspire you to want to learn more. The objective is not to fully understand every line of code.
